FAQs
How does it work?
Submit your ACL Quote Request by filling out the form on the bottom of this page. You will be asked to upload the STL or OBJ file of your model, so please have that ready before requesting a quote. Once we receive your file, we will analyze your request along with selected options, and contact you with an invoice. Production of your item will not begin until the invoice has been paid.
What can I have printed?
Almost anything. There are a few restrictions, as listed below, but most things can be printed in our print farm. This includes: D&D miniatures, terrain, storage solutions, cosplay parts, gaming accessories, and more.
How long will it take?
Standard production times are 5-10 business days, not including shipping time. Rush processing is available for an additional surcharge.
Can I sell my printed item?
That depends. If you possess a commercial license for selling the model you provide, or you have created the model yourself, you are entitled to sell the item for commercial purposes.
You will be asked to provide proof of licensing for your model. If you did not create the model yourself and you do not possess the appropriate license to sell the item you may not sell the item under any circumstances.
Clients found to be violating this provision will be banned from using the ACL service.
Is there a limit to how many items I can order?
Item orders are limited to five (5) copies of any particular model. Particularly large or complex models may reduce this limit further. If we believe that an item is being reproduced to sell without the appropriate licensing, we reserve the right to cancel your order.
Can I request for miniatures to be printed?
Yes! We utilize both resin and FDM printers to produce high-quality, high-fidelity 3D prints of all types of miniatures. Due to the detail-oriented nature of miniature printing, there is an additional surcharge (as noted in the ACL Request Quote form) for printing these types of models. Feel free to contact us for more information.
What are the size limits for models?
Our print farm consists of Bambu Labs P1S, Bambu Labs A1 Mini, and AnyCubic Photon Mono 2 printers. The maximum print sizes for these printers are as follows:
Bambu Labs P1S: 256 x 256 x 256 mm
Bambu Labs A1 Mini: 180 x 180 x 180 mm
AnyCubic Photon Mono 2: 143 x 89 x 165 mm
Are there other restrictions for what you will print?
Yes, the following is a non-exhaustive list of items we will not print. Please keep in mind that your request for a quote is not a binding agreement until we have accepted your quote and both parties have signed the service agreement. Archive Arcanus LLC reserves the right to refuse a quote at any time, for any reason.
Items that will be rejected:
Any item of an adult-oriented or pornographic nature.
Helmets or helmet halves.
Items with questionable licensing status that have not been identified as Personal Use Only (PUO).
Items which require extensive post-processing.
Items which, in the sole discretion of Archive Arcanus LLC, will place undo wear and tear on equipment.
Items which, in the sole discretion of Archive Arcanus LLC, exceed a nominal use of consumables for a model of equivalent size/complexity.
